the federal administration allows you to search through all registered company names and access cantonal
databases (N.B. Sole proprietorships and general & limited partnerships are now complete).
Click on the map (orange or red), you'll obtain all the necessary and useful information about the trade register
concerned (orange and green), you go online searching into the database (red).
Researching companies in the database is free of charge.
All the inscriptions for a company (trade registry extract) can be downloaded
after paying a cantonal fee by credit card or setting up and using a prepayment account.
This information may be freely used. Such use, however, in no way binds the company, nor is it
legaly binding. Only the company record (extract), issued and certified
by the person in charge of the competent trade register,
and the text as published in the Swiss Official Gazette of Commerce
(the SOGC) are binding.
