the commercial
registers of
Switzerland

For over fifteen years (since January 1, 1988) POWERneting has been efficiently working on computerizing the Swiss Trade Registers. RC-Win, a POWERneting program, has been the chosen solution in 21 out of 26 Swiss cantons.
Of these, twenty (20) cantons put their data on the internet using RC-Web. One canton has not yet decided on using Internet.

POWERneting develops, installs and maintains its own software application. We also train our Trade Register business partners in its use. The program handles and checks Trade Register inscription requests and sends the data to the Official Swiss Trade Journal for publication.

This site presents all the Trade Registers of Switzerland, whether they have chosen to use the POWERneting solution or not. You can, however, differentiate the various solutions by their colour codes:

• Cantons accessing the Internet using the POWERneting Internet solution RC-Web are in red
• Those not yet on the Internet, but using RC-Win are in orange
• The cantons which we hope will soon join our family are in green.

POWERneting employs 5 people.

Two engineers, graduates of the Federal Technology Institute of Zurich, Georges de Montmollin (Neuchâtel) and Marlyse Rudaz (Moudon), develop and constantly upgrade our programs and provide customer support.

Willy Niederer (Winterthur) trains Trade Register personnel in the use of our programs and provides customer support.

Cédric Benoit develops our WebServices and Tamino-Interfaces.
